Snow Day December 18th

Mom and Dad worked from home, we hear news that they will be going back to the office tomorrow, Ginger and I love all of the freedom.

Birthday Wishes

I got a birthday wish from my Sis Cedar this week. I can hardly believe that we are two years old, we turned two on the 16th of November. Mom got me a new collar and a new yellow duck and we had a birthday donut just for dogs from "Simply Fetching" I love the fact that I still hang out with my dog family. Family is important to me, my human family and my dog family. I am most happy when we are all together.

My Nephew Dash is visiting me this week..

Dash and I play and play he came here on Tuesday Election Day. I voted for McCain, Ginger voted for Ombama so we cancelled out each other votes ... O.K. we know we can't really vote, we are dogs, but we vote for more food and treats!

Dash is great we have not naped now for 6 days we spend 8 hours a day making noise at each other and rolling it is great fun! We sleep 9 hours at night we are so tired.

Dash, Ginger and I all took a nap today! Mom and Dad decided us boys should go on a bunny hunt I showed Dash how to sniff the bunnies which he did, but we found no bunnies but we had great fun and after 45 min we were tired! So we came home and hung out with Ginger she stayed home she did not want to go for a walk so... we all piled on top of each other and took a nap, it reminded me of my days of being in a litter.

Dash will be here for a few more days and I will be sad to see him go, it has been so much fun for us to play the way boys do!

No Blue Ribbon

It was a hot weekend, I had to keep wet towels around me. I was in Enumclaw all weekend at the Dachshund Speciality and the Olympic Kennel Dog Show. It was great I stayed with my dog family in the RV for the weekend. My Mom came and saw me each day after I was done showing. I came in 4th Friday and Saturday and last place on Sunday. I hear news around the house that I will now be concentrating my field trials and earth dogging so this is good news for me I love to hunt. Mom also picked up scissors this weekend, and told me she will be grooming me until my Stylist Sabrina is back to work, I miss Sabrina but at least I have my Mom to try and clip my hair, hmmm I hope it goes O.K.

Earthdog

I went earthdogging this weekend it was so much fun! I have got the tunnels down now really well and I can go 30 feet under ground! So now all i have to do is work above ground with rats to learn to bark at them, I like to do the death stair. No points this weekend but I had fun and now I know what to work on. Freddie
